Lyngblomsten has a new opportunity for a passionate leader to join our campus as Part Time Weekend Kitchen Supervisor.
The key function of this position is to help create an elevated dining experience with a hands-on approach. They will lead the team in our Long-Term Care as well as the Assisted Living and Independent dining rooms to ensure the production of high-quality meals across our St. Paul Campus.
We are looking for someone who loves to feed the souls of our community. This position is only weekends and day time hours.
Qualifications:
· Experience in food service management within a senior care setting.
· A commitment to fresh ingredients and scratch cooking.
· Experience with menus, recipes, and nutrition.
· Knowledge of food allergies, modified textures, therapeutic diets, and diseases related to nutrition.
· Must be Serve Safe Cert.
· Knowledge of computer applications and MS office suite.
Responsibilities:
· Ability to lead and develop food service employees.
· Must have the desire to work with older adults.
· Ability to lead, train, manage, and schedule staff.
· Reports to Director of Culinary Services
