Lyngblomsten is looking for a Staffing Coordinator to help us continue on our successful path. Lyngblomsten can boast 94% retention. Qualifications:
- 1 year of staffing/scheduling experience in long term care strongly preferred
- Nursing background preferred.
- Qualifications: outstanding communication skills, oral and written; ability to maintain staffing patterns within budget; ability and willingness to assume responsibilities and work as a member of the nursing office team and ability to deal with staff requests and scheduling problems in a positive manner.
- Responsibilities include: but are not limited to: provide staffing patterns to ensure overall continuity of resident cares within the allocated nursing budgeted hours, generating bi-monthly nursing staff schedules and new nursing employee schedules during their orientation period, ensure adequate daily staffing, track floating holiday and sick time paid per personnel policy, maintains file of staffing request for time off, paid time for absences, leaves of absences and FMLA, verifies staff hours daily and biweekly for payroll and other duties as assigned.
